today was wonderful.  i slept for 12 hours last night.  my boyfriend made me breakfast.  i relaxed all day, watching tv, reading magazines, and just hanging out.  simply amazing.  well, after doing nothing all day, it was time to be just a little productive.  so i made some chocolate chip walnut cookies for my boyfriend and then made a loaf of lemon yogurt cake… well actually it was lemon sour cream cake.  we didn’t have any plain yogurt on hand but we did have some sour cream that i wanted to use up.  it worked out great.  yay!

this recipe is from ina garten whom i absolutely love!!!  her show barefoot contessa is one of my favorites.  she makes great simple and delicious recipes, just like this one.  this cake comes together quickly and is very easy to make.  plus it is super moist with just enough lemony flavor.  “how easy is that”  love it!
